I'm pretty damn sure that on these online travel agent sites, where one has the option of selecting direct, one stop, two stops etc, just as an example, few, if any, will show up with direct flights between Europe and Down Under and vice versa.
But, just as another example, the X91 bus that operates between Cardiff Central and Cardiff Airport, often onward to/from Llantwit Major, describes itself as an "Express Service" and it is precisely that, very few stops between the airport and central Cardiff but it daren't describe itself as as a direct service because it isn't, it stops and it may deviate from the optimum route!
But hey, I've got better things to do, just reading about sleet and snow forecast for UK, it's the rainy season here but it's still a darn sight warmer than the old country, maybe off to the beach in the morning ... work commitments permitting
