A couple of years ago i completed my CPL/IR FAA. I am an irish citizen and the reason why I did my training FAA was due to me being promised a job after completing a CFI with the flight school I did my training with. After completing my training it was safe to say i had been conned and there was no job.
Moneyless and jobless i cut my losses and went back to ireland with my tail between my legs. I have been working for the past two years and it hasnt been any easy one. Alot of crap has gone on since then and i ran out of money sitting my ATPLs and my time lapsed leaving me to start them again with a 93% avg on 10 subjects. I am devastated to say the least.
My question is, what does everyone think i should do? i was in a bad accident only recently and the third parties insurance has paid me a decent settlement of around the 10k mark. I really want to continue my studies but pondering going to american flyers in fort lauderdale and doing the 30 day CFI/CFII course and trying to source some flying for free, which i know is a
bad thing to do but im desperate, or head back and finish my ATPLs and risk not getting a job at all because i have had to repeat them.
Anyone with any ideas or any help i would be greatly appreciative.
