Why is it that when people try to advance their career everyone else in this industry jumps down their throat.
Yes you have to pay for your testing, same as you do for Qantas & Jetstar (maybe not as much though).
You have to pay for your endorsement. Same as you do for Jetstar and Virgin, the only difference being that you don't pay the interest on the loan per the salary sacrifice agreement.
"Ramshakle Operator"!!! Yes they have had their issues, no one is disputing that. As far as salary goes they don't pay as much as Virgin but they still pay more than Jetstar.
If people remember back, the comments on this thread sound very similiar to ones said when Virgin first started up and now Virign is one of the hottest jobs in Australian aviation.
Why can't we go back to the time when we supported our fellow pilots??
