stipendi prestigiosi nelle major, ovviamente, e li inserivo nella stessa categoria di lufthansa BA e airfrance. lo so bene quanto vengono pagati i FO nelle regionali. E come dicevo se togli charter regionali e low cost restano solo le major per poter campare dignitosamente.

Lots of talk of morocco bases as well, it would seem that the recent timetable changes indicate this as well. Of course these will be 5/3 bases so don't expect to be getting more than one day at home if you choose to commute from April till November.
Hours on the first year, I would budget on 600 max! Just as I stated earlier guys theres no more aircraft arriving. For ever new person that arrives they are diluting everyone else's hours, of course there's quite a few leaving but nothing on the scale of people arriving; hence the dilution.
Remember that you cost the company nothing to be sat on your arse in the middle of Europe. It's in their operational interest to be overcrewed.
Please don't expect to receive much sympathy from your colleagues when you arrive.

the situation is very bad
at the moment a cadet can expect to fly 20 - 40 hours per month in the winter and 50 - 60 in the summer that makes under 24.000 € gross the first year . (50 € for 1 hour block) 17.000€ (1.416 € per month) net with no pension no holyday pay no sick pay. Since you will be probably be away from home you will have to pay the accomodation to stay there for standby duties.
At the moment some accountants let you deduct from the taxes the type rating so you can take the gross income as net for the first year .
Don't consider Ryanair as a work but just an hobby were you will spend money
the base is their choice but you can ask for one .

riscrivo i punti focali per chi non mastica l'inglese, specie tra i giovani brevettanti: lo stipendio è di 50 euro all'ora volata, se non voli non guadagni. il meglio che vi potete augurare sono 17000 euro all'anno (1400 euro mese) senza nessuna copertura per malattie permessi o ferie, e vi dovete pagare tutto, dall'albergo agli spostamenti al mangiare: tutto. Oltre ovviamente al type, ma questo lo sanno tutti. vi possono cambiare il contratto come gli gira il sedere, anche se avete scadenze a 5 anni. E FR è uno dei motori trainanti dinamici (checchè se ne pensi di MOL) dell'aviazione civile europea.
il tuo è stato un best case scenario, che come inizio non è poi così splendente. Un corso di laurea da avvocato, ma anche di medicina, non ti costa nè 100mila nè 50mila euro, normalmente, ma se li spendi in università ivy league stai ben certo che te li rimetti in tasca in meno di tre anni. fai gli stage e le fotocopie, ma non paghi 50mila euro per fare lo stage, come fanno pagare certe compagnie per il favore che ti fanno a farti portare in giro i loro passeggeri paganti.
Sono d'accordo che non c'è solo la linea, ma non raccontiamoci favole, quanti tra questi ragazzi che vanno dall'altra parte del mondo lo fanno per portare in giro gli striscioni del maxibon davanti al lido 2 di fano? Però senz'altro son d'accordo, come ho detto prima, che se uno si ferma e sceglie di fare l'istruttore o il bush o il lavoro aereo, ci potrebbe anche stare, perchè l'investimento è più contenuto.
Diciamolo però che stiamo parlando di gente che paga per lavorare, contenta di pagare per lavorare, e a cui non parrebbe vero di guadagnare soldi veri dal loro sogno. E' come fare il pornoattore: essere pagato per trombare giovani fanciulle dalle grosse poppe? strano di solito mi sentirei di dover pagare io, no?
