A nasty scenario is the handling of an in-flight (smoldering) fire behind one of the panels in the cabin. A sketch:
  1. Some smoke enters the cabin
  2. CC starts looking for source of smoke
  3. CC removes correct panel and applies fire extinguisher
  4. Fire is sufficiently down to allow safe landing, but still generates smoke
  5. Crew evacuates smoky plane (with only a meter visibility inside the cabin)
Subtle points:
  • Effective communication by CC while wearing smoke hoods
  • Finding the fire
  • Flight crew planning for immediate landing, while collecting relevant information from CC
  • FC communication with ATC
  • Proper evacuation
Add some "panicked" passengers to distract the CC to add to the difficulty.
