I mean a coach service to Manchester city centre (coach station) - much the same as the regular coach service that links Luton with London. Surely this would only encourage more people to use LPL over MAN - not the other way round.
If you are flying into the north-west and want to go to the Manchester area (as a lot of people do), and are not being picked up at the other end you either have to go into Liverpool and get the train (west then east - very time consuming) or hire a taxi, which can negate the saving of flying to LPL in the first place.
It seems obvious to an outsider, like myself, who flies into LPL a lot and almost always uses public transport to get where I have to at the other end.
