Perhaps your UAS Sqn Cdr could take the point to HQ UAS? I think that there used to be an annual UAS Sqn Cdrs' conference which could well provide a suitable opportunity if it still exists?
When the UASs were dumbed down to their current level in Oct 2005, the government stated in the House of Lords that:
"There have been no changes made to the standards of recruitment and training"
Which now seems to have been yet another Labour lie - or perhaps no-one told 22Gp?
