If that's what people want, than Ryanair has done a great job in changing the product of flying.

PR department, as if it is solely responsible for reducing airfares in Europe. The reality is that Ryanair was not in fact the first "low-cost" airline in the world. Deregulation and restructuring of the airline industry within Europe some years ago arguably had far greater effect on airfares than any single company.
