errrm.. he doesn't have any floats, but I'd say he had quite a bit of time to choose his spot - the rotor RPM decays relatively slowly and the ROD is low. The beach was crowded so he put it down neatly behind the rollers. Even matey standing on the skid was told to get back in (albeit rather late!). Good job
