Media allege that Vnukovo firefighting cars were on repair so the first emergency crews appeared on the scene no earlier than 50 minutes after the blaze broke out.
Surely if this were true, then after one attempted landing and an hour spent dumping fuel, they would have been diverted to one of Moscow's three other airports which presumably did have full fire cover?
