I doubt FR will close it's Prestwick base it's just after announcing 4 new routes for Summer 2013 !
It would be great if SNN got it's European hub connections back maybe Lufthansa Regional/Eurowings to Frankfurt/Munich.
Air France/Cityjet return to Paris CDG
KLM Cityhopper to AMS
Air Nostrum to MAD ???
If FR do comeback and expand what routes would they operate ? Maybe bring back Prestwick and East Midlands are just launch routes that EIR currently operate... Seems like the typical thing for FR to do. Same with the European routes (Paris, Frankurt etc) If FR launch them then there's probably NO chance we'll see any European Carriers coming to Shannon.
Would be great if EIR relaunched Bristol, Glasgow and Rennes. And if EI launched new European routes and kept it's American destinations year round.
