What are the views on here about prospects for Waterford airport with bmi regional.?
A 135, assuming available would seem a good size for a Waterford Luton route, granted they dont serve Luton, but leads to the next point, assuming alignment with an alliance or network carrier would Luton represent opportunities for such an operation that currently is lacking.?
I accept the biggest challenge is marketing and distribution..
Getting back to Waterford, I believe the airport has potential, it had long been mooted as one of RE's strongest routes until the main route was shifted to SEN and scaled LTN back, where the demand was and an established market. REs committment to EI and stronger returns ex Dublin have created problems for WAT, while it may appear to the outside world that WAT lacks potential.?
