Has anybody else bought the above for their children (or themselves) ? The NXT controller
should connect to my laptop via Bluetooth, but I can't get the thrice bu@@ered thing to connect

It sees my lappy, the lappy sees it, but they won't talk- The password is the same on the NXT unit, the LEGO software and Windows. It appears in my list of Bluetooth devices, but no dice.
I have tried stopping Windows from installing drivers, trusting the LEGO software to do its thing, nothing. I then let Windows load what it wanted, same result.
I can connect it with the USB cable which works fine, but the Bluetooth would be tops, although programming the thing is temporarily beyond me, let's blame Chrismas day for that,

Any chance Avast (free) is blocking the Bluetooth function? It gave me huge grief awhile ago, when I could receive emails but not send them... Took a man and EUR 50.- to sort
