I see BA and BHD as good partners. City centre, business orientated airport, with a non low-cost, full frills carrier.... I'd be shocked if they were to part ways. And for those who think BA don't want to operate domestic routes, I keep comparing with NCL, and while BA operate NCL with their own metal, I'd say Belfast will be safe... I'd imagine stronger demand from Belfast, esp as we have no other full-service connecting airline (perhaps with the exception of UA), while NCL have AF, KL, SN and EK etc.
Apparently BD found BHD to be a bit of a cash-cow, and I'd image BA will also see the same benefit, esp if relations with EI draft, if that is true, that EI may be more aligning with Star!!
