I'm currently a student in FTE and sure a couple of months back they were very short of flying instructors due to a few very big classes coming into the flying phase so it was a little bit in disarray. But know they've hired a huge amount of instructors and it all seems to be getting back to normal with the bigger classes begging to filter out.
As regards to how they treat there staff I think it's pretty good, they normally put new instructors up in the social club, with an ensuite rooms, and 3 meals a day. The flight instructors I've talked to seem to be enjoying themselves anyway!
