There is something wrong in the absence of feeling restitution by the feedback of some FBW flight laws. It was already stigmatized by gums' experience in flight.
In the direct loop you have the human feeling/sensors. From the feedback you get no feeling coming to the comparator.
In automation/system design it means there is a faulty transmission of information, with a resulting faulty OBSERVABILITY / CONTROLLABILITY of your closed loop system.
We know that OBSER ABILITY / CONTROLLABILITY are the minimum design qualities for a dynamic system to work.
