It is utterly fanciful to link these proposals to airport development - a myth invented and perpetuated by local nimbys and taken in and repeated by the gullible.
Three of the more bizarre links made by the protesters are;-
That some of the warehousing on the proposed logistics site have been deliberately made large enough to accomodate a 747 so after being built they can be converted into maintenance hangers - presumably accessed by these mythical 747s taxing over the grass and down the loigistic park roads!!
That other warehouse units on the logistic park are freight sheds in disguise even though there is no planned connection between the logistic park and the airport.
That the proposed hotel in the technology park is actually an airport hotel and the first stage of a new terminal development- which rather ignores the fact that any further development would have to gain planning permission in its own right and could be turned down at that stage.
In truth these proposals have nothing to do with the airport and the protesters are seeking to create scare stories that have no basis in reality.
