I think the BMI integration would lower the time to command. At least that's what BALPA have been saying!
If all goes according to plan, it should reduce the time to a
longhaul command. In theory, this will also reduce the time to a shorthaul command as well as folks move across, although as shorthaul slots will progressively be given over to longhaul flying instead so this may not be quite as clear cut.
