Hot damn, not often i get to fly in wind speeds at lower levels in excess of 35 knots, but I always enjoy the higher speeds if i am going that way and not at all the other way.

IMHO that I have often encountered high wind speeds at around 5500 to 9000 feet in central OZ as South Easterlies during the dry season at up 65 to 70 knots in FW's and once again, most enjoyable if going that way. Going the other way it's either nose bleeds or very B rough at low level.
