Not quite accurate Dragon man- at least as of last week.

Another goes in January and a third in the 'first half' of next year. No forecast change to the flying hours as yet so no reduction in crew numbers as the remaining airframes will just take up the slack. The average hours per airframe is about 8 so we can get rid of about about 20% of the fleet without it impacting on the total hours flown by the 767 fleet. It's when the hours start dropping that the excess of crew will start to be a bigger issue. New flying program due out in the next couple of days should give us an idea of what's going on in the medium term.

Rest supposed to be gone by Dec 13 although there is a contingency plan being developed to keep up to four on the J curve (post the ADSB cut off date) if required. They'll make that call a lot closer to the date.

Incidentally, the aircraft that left is off to Roswell, New Mexico via Honolulu- at least it was when I spoke to one of the office whallers last week. Screams 'junket' to my mind! (I'm just jealous. )
