Back in the nineties, the Midwest Aero Club organised an airshow at Geraldton. It was really very good, considering it was a regional, first time attempt, but the indisputable highlight was a solo PC-9 aerobatics routine performed by a RAF instructor on secondment to the RAAF. It was, simply, the best display I have ever seen. All performed with utter precision, and utterly dazzling. You felt it was a real pilots display, we all good stood in there in awe, apart from the odd "....I want one" We all "wanted one" but knew we would never be able to fly it the way it was flown that day.
