Sad but true.
Anyway..back focusing on Air Baltic..if you do your type with them with the intention to do the LT as well...no matter if them leave you at home without LT. You can always do it with another organization. Your wallet don't cares whether you're paying air baltic or others..
At the moment I really don't know if their "prices" for the type are convenient...but at the moment seems to be one of the few possibility to make the "pilot wheel of fortune" spin for who has just got his CPL. (talking about remaining in EU)
