that is the most selfish sentiment i have had from anyone in a while, what about those who want to make real careers out of it, support their families and enjoy the job while at it.
It is this myopic thinking that has made aviation a very poor paying job in the states and parts of Europe, pilots are quickly being reduced to paupers and mere drivers, because of your ilk, who would even pay airlines to fly instead of the other way round, and progressively eroding the terms and conditions of pilot employment.
I wish you all the best with your interviews, but i doubt if you will make it through the training if you get through, this career needs people who are focused and firm, and the wash out in SA gets the desperate ones like you.
