Just gone through this myself so here's what happened to me.
PPL reduced to 39 Hours, two groundschool exams.
CPL given a dispensation of 50 hrs i.e. started CPL course with 105 hrs total Heli. Only one groundschool exam (principles of flight) which made life alot easier! Check with Cash And Aggro about the ground school though, it is supposed to be changing soon with the implementation of bridging exams.
