I know the two lucky ones who did this sort of sponsored training a few years back. That was Bristow Australia though. They are both on the S-76 now...
With all the people who have payed all the training, including MEIR themselves, and who are now unemployed, I donīt understand why Bristow would throw their money at this kind of recruitment?
It would be insanely expensive for the company to do this for all new co-pilots!
Anyway, the test scores needed through out the program at Bristow is 80% vs 70% for those who are self sponsored. No money is provided at all, so students will have to pay for food, transport and whatever themselves.
It is obviously a good deal for sure, but I donīt understand the WHY!
