110 Turkish pilots face flight restrictions due to health problems

Maybe this will give you a clue as to the current thinking:

The " letter of permission" to fly that replaced the old " Validation" to your JAR licence will not be granted with the OML restriction on your medical, you need to get the AMS to remove it to stand a chance..
