The whole point of the inquiry is that the ATSB report that was supposed to make public the operators deficiencies and the regulators deficiencies in ensuring PEL Air run a tight ship was silent on those issues. We didn't know that the CP went to CASA after the accident and may have been a part of the special audit. We don't know why the ATSB didn't include more detail about the deficiencies highlighted by the SAR. To describe Senator F and Senator X as buffoons suggests you have some other agenda or bias in relation to the whole issue.
