Really surprised with all the MPA bashing that goes on. The question was an MPA in 2015? If you think the answer is no then fine but there is clearly a need for one as admitted by the Gov. and MOD so there is absolute logic as to why people may speculate on here about a replacement to Nimrod. After all the R in PPRuNe is 'Rumour'!!!
I think B-S was commenting about people posting about the roles, capabilities, equipment, etc, of MPA when they don't have a clue what they are talking about. I have had quite a few chuckles to myself reading some of the misinformed drivel that some (with obviously no MPA experience) have come out with in this thread.
The sad part is that those in power seem to have the same total lack of knowledge
