Not CAA, but CASA accept them as long as there is a regular print out which is filed as a 'true copy' unless the eLog is locked with changes being tracked. This was discussed only a fortnight ago, and the rationale from my FOI was that an electronic log can be altered without trace, whereas a hard copy or locked eLog can show a history should it be doctored. As has been found in a number of investigations
