Came to LDY from PIK last year (very nice very interesting place despite its troubles) so quite an avid reader of this thread now.
I'm not sure the City of Culture title is going to see people flocking to Derry en masse I don't think. I would be surprised if many Germans/Frenchies are even aware such a thing exists.
I would like to see LDY do we'll but I wouldn't be holding my breath for any sort of significant expansion from FR.
