Outofwhack - no denigration intended - where did you read that in my post?
The pilot is a recent PPL(H). My point is that there are engine out reactions for a fixed wing that are the opposite of rotary wing. I believe that this has been a cause of accidents in the past.
Sorry if you find that offensive but my post is simply to remind folks of a safety risk.
