I would go the C182 if possible having some time in it. may lead to Meat Bombing or Station work later.

As for mixing types thats ok aswell, makes you more versatile.

I used to work at a Company in Darwin where one day youd do the Mail Run in C206 then the next was an all day charter in a PA-31-350 , then the next a Freight Run in C402B ,then the next day a all day wait at Port Keats in a Baron, then finish the week off in C210 or C310R. You got busy. Made me more versatile I believe. Got to know your numbers though and A/C limitations.
