Even if the route isn't restarted, I can't see it making a huge difference to Cork. Maybe 20 passengers a day. Or 2-3 per flight.
A lot of people will choose not to travel without the direct flight. Some will take the ferry. Some will fly WAT-BHX. Some will fly from Dublin. That's the vast bulk of the passengers accounted for already.
Only really for passengers who live in and around places like Dungarvan, Kilmacthomas and Stradbally will Cork be the default alternative.
