Not part of flybe, still an independent, they fly under a flybe franchise. The 146s were ordered on the request of the parent company in order to allow LC to launch GLA/EDI-LGW when BA got BCAL. The winner of that one was....Air UK and LC ended up with two 146s that it had absolutely no need for.
