Heathrow is also equipped with RIMCAS - (Runway Incursion Monitoring and Collision Avoidance System), whereby an alarm is triggered on the A-SMGCS (Advanced Surface Movement Guidance & Control System) screen if any vehicle or aircraft infringes the LSA.
