I can't comment on anything other than his being a "good pilot" and didn't attempt to with reference to that video. I have witnessed otherwise.

I am no "precious dear" who "needs his nose wiped". I learnt a lot from MFL, even though I'm as senior as he. Especially how NOT to treat other crew members and self aggrandize my own abilities. He's not as good as he thinks he is, as a pilot or instructor.

I sincerely hope he is as good a family man, friend and neighbour as you suggest.
