I was around the place for a while this morning and saw the last EI814 take off back to Gatwick?
What is the story - is EI Gatwick gone completely now leaving the whole market to Ryanair or is Gatwick due to return next year for the summer schedule?
To mark the start of the Cork Jazz Festival this weekend there was a jazz singer called The Loungeman at arrivals this morning for the EI841 from Amsterdam singing along to his backing tracks. His voice is quite pleasing and as I am known as TtT I know a little about these things!
(As an aside I understand yesterday's EI844 and this morning's EI841 were both jammed - not a seat to be had!) A lot of carry on luggage ended up in the hold.
How bad!
