In 1979 I was in a similar position to you. I'd just completed my PPL on C150s, was an ex-glider pilot, and about to convert onto the Chipmunk (which I flew and had a share in until earlier this year). Flown loads of TW aircraft as well including Super Cub and many many hours in an L4, and had share in a Citabria for a while.

Being as you haven't been flying nosewheel long enough for your 'glider feet' to get lazy and for you to get into the habit of consistantly failing to correctly hold-off (as nosewheel pilots invariable end up since their aeroplanes allow it - until the nosewheel gives up the struggle), you'll be fine.

The pilots who seem to have difficulties converting to TW are those who have lots of NW time. This is invariably related to properly holding-off, and to keeping straight in the roll-out. As a glider pilot, that shouldn't be a problem for you.
