The Compleat Taildragger will give you the necessary theory. Then you need to think it through. Tailwheel aircraft are fairly intolerant of being 'thrown at the ground' whereas the Landomatic Cessnas and other trikes will take all sorts of arrivals. The Compleat Taildragger tells you why and how to avoid it all.

I've flown with people who struggled to takeoff on tarmac and grass - you need to have the right sort of responses and feet which you know how to control.

But a Super Cub is terrific fun, you'll never want to fly a Landomatic again.
