Well, let us hope it happens now this time - after all, where else in Europe can one see plurality of 787s and A380s only at Frankfurt! Cork cant get Boston or New York so hopefully Frankfurt should do instead!
Wear the green jersey as the FFers would say and get EI to fly to Frankfurt and get at least a few rich Germans to spend a few Euro in the Cork area!
Heathrow by BA would be just swell too but the UK APD tax sure would put me off from connecting through that gateway - it is bad enough paying so many new taxes in Ireland without contributing large sums to the UK exchequor as well!
That is where the likes of Frankfurt and Amsterdam would score - in the case of Frankfurt depending on the kind of marketing they guys at the CAA can dream up!
