IIRC, during the war a North Korean pilot abandoned the Worker's Paradise (tm) for the hedonistic pleasures of capitalism. He took his MiG with him. He forcelanded and an American team went in to recover the aircraft, which now resides in the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
The pilot relocated to the United States after debriefing.
These are some really nice pictures, btw. I was just so pleased to see a question I could answer that I overlooked the opportunity to acknowledge that fact.
And as an aside, yes, that pilot would be wearing a parka. It was official cold weather flying gear for the USAF, especially in the colder regions such as Alaska, Greenland and Minot, North Dakota.
