OPEN LETTER TO DAVID EVANS

David,
fristly, please forgive my use of this website to contact you anonymously, but the current climate dictates that direct contact is unwise. Furthermore I cannot use Write To Rob now that you have fired him and in any case, Rob has not opened WTR since Halloween - there's a moral in that somewhere.

Secondly - congratulations in carrying out a brave and just action. There may be hope for the company after all. As earlier stated - 7 more to go.

Third and most important point (for the time being). BACX inherited a Dash 8 Newcastle to Aberdeen route that Brymon had operated successfully for many years. Purely by coincidence, once we merged, the route then became unprofitable so we carried out our tried and tested forluma - panic button and pull out. Eastern then took on the route with an Embraer 135 and were doing well until this week when BMI announced that they would also operate an Emb135 Aberdeen to Newcastle in direct competition with Eastern. This has sent a shock wave through Eastern's expansion plans and the Glasgow hangar loyal employees are piggy in the middle, in current speculation that the 'deal' is now off. However, isn't it strange that our management can't compete, and can't operate profitable routes profitably, and as soon as we pull out, other operators fall over themselves to take up where we left off.
David - do the decent and honourable thing and sack the rest of the mismanagement shower en masse.
In adhering to our other tried and tested company policy of giving away routes and aircraft left, right and centre, I can inform all the readers that our 3 highland & island ATP routes will be soon be given over to LogieBaird next door along with 3 Dash 8s!
You'll see - I have a network of informers who put MI5 to shame.
