You sound disappointed, did you not want the law to be applied in your case?

In this particular situation I did very little. It started before I was a commercial pilot. However of the many reasons I joined this professional association is I wanted to protect my t's and c's as well as possible. This is one part of it.

If you were a BALPA member you'd know what the next part is. It's all on the BALPA forum. And just in case you were wondering there are no further appeals. An employment tribunal will now set the levels, but the precedent has been set across the uk industry by the Supreme Court.
