you didn't even have to do anything for it.
As far as I recall it a large number of BALPA members had (at least on paper) to agree to some form of financial commitment should the action have gone pear shaped...I certainly recall filling paperwork in, not a big deal not exactly doing nothing...

I reckon that before C/C get anything they or their reps are going to have to go through a long battle with BA .
Nope, AFAIK precedent will apply, as I'm sure the appropriate Cabin crew union reps will point out to the grateful recipients in the fullness of time .
