The destruction of pilots terms and conditions will continue to the point of 10% of that above Mixed Fleet. Seems only fair right?
With 500,000 NEW (250,000 now) pilots required worldwide in the next 20 years, air force recruits dwindling due to drones/shrinking budgets and the massive cost of training I am sure these posts will be filled easily. I guess the airlines could lobby to let pilots work to 70 or 75 to delay what is coming.
Things are changing in the industry and airlines are using the current climate to do their best to make these changes happen. If BA/VS/EASY don't want to pay me or my skilled colleagues then we go work for those who will.
Supply and demand. Simples.
