I don't know any company that leaves reverse idle until they have left the runway for the reasons stated above. I found that most use the disarming of the spoilers as a trigger for the PNF to commence his after landing scan and only do this once they have received, and understood, the taxi instructions. This ensures that both pilots are listening to said instructions and not distracted by a task that has no urgency.
