"He has abolished the Empowered committe who was responsible for granting Licences/Import Permits."

Yes he abolished it without any alternate process in place!! Company I know of has been waiting 3 months now for the import permit for one aircraft and for the permission to purchase another airframe domestically !! With still no end in site, even with payments being made to the correct people.

Its crazy, and without this permission you cannot get permission from the RBI to send the payment for the aircraft outside India.

I dont know of any other democratic country that requires so many permissions and approvals to purchase an aircraft.

If this is just the beginning imagine the hell that will break loose when he abolishes the DGCA with no CAA in place!!
