The selection process I had was Compass Tests/ Psychological assessment on computer, think there was about 250 questions. Then a company interview, very straight forward and very friendly. "Tell us about yourself", "Why Copa", I answered "Why not"! No Tech questions they just want get to know abit more about you and they say alot about the company.
Then medical, bloodtests urine etc to check (I think) drugs etc , after that the Lie Detector. TBH I cudnt stop laughing during that, the tester wasnt impressed after the 3rd run! nothing to hide so I wasnt bothered.
The Sim was the following day, all friendly guys, good briefing then off for a blast. RTO first, then Engine Fire on departure from Bogota, after qrh etc reinstated, self position for s/e ils, land. Takeoff then some Vor tracking, Ils to minimas then land.
Found out I was successful 2 weeks after. Looking forward to the move soon.
