Now this standard procedure is new to me!
What i've understood there's someone using the switching of the DFGC, to obtain max thrust during take-off.
What i know is that you can obtain max thrust, during take off and climb-out, by switching the ART system to INOP and then selecting TO mode on the TRP panel.
This is done normally at the end of the final cockpit checklist ( when you decide which kind of thrust you want: MAX-Normal-Flex).
