It's very obvious almost immediately that the paper is very out of date. What would someone with initiative do? They would go and look up the up to date information. What would someone with a true interest and passion the aviation industry do?
in fairness.. I don't think it's deliberate.. it's probably just nats HR not keeping up with it. I am not surprised if the recruitment process is shambolic (mine was 5 years ago, and it was as such). A lot of internal processes in nats are, so you might just as well get used to it from the beginning
True interest and passion have got nothing to do with making a good ATCO, it's about keeping the blips apart and doing so safely and efficiently. The tests are (should be?) about retaining information, quick thinking and accuracy.
Good luck to all applicants
